Trick Williams retained the NXT Championship in the main event of Tuesday’s program.
Mike Santana was attempting to bring the title “back” to TNA and was on the verge of winning after landing a 450 splash, but Williams used his finger to reach the rope and save himself.

Elijah was seated in the front row, as he will challenge for the title this Friday at Against All Odds. Williams rolled to the floor and grabbed Elijah’s guitar, and broke it over the steps. When Elijah hopped the barricade, it took the referee’s attention away, allowing AJ Francis and KC Navarro to show up and attack Santana with a choke slam onto the announcer’s desk.
Santana was sent back into the ring, and Williams hit the Trick Shot to retain his title.
Based on the outcome, Williams will defend the TNA Championship against Elijah on Friday’s Against All Odds special.
