It looks like Danhausen’s time on the AEW roster, barring a new deal, could be coming to an end soon.

The multi-year AEW vet’s current contract with the promotion is expected to conclude in July, per a recent report from Fightful Select. While his deal could have time added onto it due to injuries, there’s reportedly an expectation that such extensions won’t be applied.

Danhausen was signed onto the AEW roster in 2022, forming an alliance with Hook as he first started to appear on TV. After being a semi-frequent character in the promotion’s programming for the next couple of years, including four matches on pay-per-view cards, Danhausen didn’t appear on AEW programming for all of 2024.

Danhausen appeared at ROH Final Battle 2024 in December, making a surprise appearance to help Atlantis Jr. defeat Mansoor of the MxM Collection. He hasn’t been seen on either AEW or ROH programming since then.

While absent from AEW TV, Danhausen hasn’t been staying away from wrestling. He had his busiest year yet as a pro in 2024, appearing fifty-eight times with bookings in GCW, DEFY, Prestige, Wrestling Revolve, and many other spots around North America. He has continued to keep an active schedule this year as well.
